After looking at pics of their food on fb for 6+ months, I finally had their pulled pork, brisket boudin, brisket, pork belly, burnt ends, and charro beans today at Gnarly Barely. Hole! E! Sheet! Hands down the best BBQ I've had in Louisiana, it rivals some of my favorite places in Texas and Memphis.

Have any of you baws been down there for Thursday Smashburger day?

Picked it up a few months ago, everything was amazing. Makes Blue Oak and CCBBQ look like Podnuh's.

Brisket and beef rib were out of this world, chicken was awesome, sides were great. Only thing I didn't really care for was the briskey boudin, it's just not as good as regular boudin

They did a good job at gnarbq. Everything was great. Probably the best pulled pork i've ever had.

We went and picked some up a little after Easter. The beef ribs were fantastic, brisket boudin was good, just not as good as I was expecting.

I loved the brisket boudin. It was actually my favorite thing I tried! I assumed it would be different than regular boudin, so I wasn't really comparing it to regular boudin.

I can't wait to have it again, but I want to try one of those smashburgers they're always posting on fb!

Some of y’all should have said hello. I was either slicing later in the day or rubbing the pits earlier on. I was hoping to finally meet some of the food board members.

It was so busy I never heard. I was the fat guy in the straw hat and green Gonzo’s shirt.

Are we calling Mandeville the hot corner? Then, yes! Bring Gonzo's to the hot corner!

I go about once a month when I'm not on the road and it is some of the best bbq I've ever had. I was a 3-year Kansas resident and worked in Forth Worth for years so I know my bbq. This is the real thing and some of the best.

I lived in SE Texas for years and visit often. I also lived in North Georgia for years and frequently went to Tennessee for BBQ. I also appreciate great BBQ. Gonzo's is definitely the real deal!
