One of the things I love the most about threads like this is when the OP reports back.

It’s like you are eating in an old house and all the rooms have wine racks all about. Neat experience.

I don’t know of anything to stay away from. Hit the apps/small plates hard. Listen to the fish special.

They smoke, then fry the soft shell crabs the way they used to do it at Christian's. Since Christian's is gone, this version is the best in town mow.

I really miss Christians. That filet stuffed with oysters was phenomenal.

Clancy’s I really like the veal chop. I want to try the chicken but I normally use Gatreau’s as my restaurant chicken place.

Marinated Crab Claws
Crab Salad
Veal Chop
Smoked Soft Shell Crab
Lemon Ice Box Pie

Great wine list and others offered by the glass (including Chappellet Mountain Cuvee).

Also, lately they have been serving light/cool soups. I had a watermelon and ginger soup with crab meat that was really good.

Sport coat.

That is ideal, but not necessary. There will be plenty of men without. Leave your ball cap at home.

I usually bring a bottle from my collection in a purchase a bottle though. You can drop a lot of money on vine there.

I'm late on the reply, but everything was incredible as advertised.

For apps we had oysters & brie plus the fried eggplant. I had a bowl of gumbo and soft shell crab. We topped it all off with lemon ice box pie. Everything is top notch but that soft shell crab is to die for. Thanks for all the recommendations everyone!
