Interesting that it gets 2 out of 3 marks for juniper on that graph, despite the fact that it has no juniper in it

Anyone ever try Magellan? French gin made with iris. It’s blue.
One of my favorites when I want something different

Do any of you aficionados have a favorite spot in Baton Rouge to pick up rarer acquisitions? I've been interested in trying G'vine Floraison for a while, but haven't really gone searching yet.

Ol Raj is also nice. Maybe a little overpriced, but a very nice gin.

Hendrick's with Jack Rudy's tonic syrup is my favorite summer drink.

I’ve not actively gone out of my way to discover rare batches in Baton Rouge, but I think I’m impressed by Calandro’s selection (though not really having anything to compare it to). I’ve never seen Hat Trick elsewhere and they have quite a few others that were new to me. I’d be very curious to hear if there are any other places in Baton Rouge with good or better selections.

This all intrigues me. I'm definitely a fan of gin, in general, though I've never tried any of the craft stuff.

My G&T go to is Tanqueray or Tanqueray Ten with just plain old Schwepp's tonic water (or whatever is available).

Martinis I'm pretty well set on having to have Beefeaters. The straight up Beefeaters, dry vermouth, green olive or cocktail onion martini is just perfect to me. I can't imagine having a martini with some of these wild arse gins.

I was late to the fever tree game but it's pretty much all I'll do now

I prefer Botanist or something I've never had when out, but we drink a lot of St George in the summer at our house.

I liked Val's, but it was way too citrusy for me. Hendrix is the benchmark and can be found most places.

I really like Death's Door gin out of Wisconsin. Problem is, I can't find it anymore. My bottle shop is having trouble getting it again.

I don't like mixing drinks at all. My go to for gin is ice, two shots gin, and a shot water.

Put your gin in the freezer and leave it there. You will quickly disdain gin with water/ice.
Especially martinis
