All three of these are stickers. I think they look great.

CCB has announced plans to eliminate 12oz bottles altogether in the coming year. The only bottles will be the large format 22oz bottles after they eliminate the 750ml bottles currently in inventory.

It's their position that cans offer better seals than bottles and because no light can penetrate the can the beer will stay fresh longer. Cans are also considered more eco-friendly. Of course, I'm sure cans are also cheaper to produce and help CCB's bottom line too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this is a great idea.

I'm all for it too. They've already switched over Tocobaga, Invasion and White Oak Jai Alai.

I would love to see some of the seasonal large formats in cans. Marshal Zhukov in 12oz cans? Sign me up!

I'm not talking seasonal beers. But anyway I don't want to turn this into a brewery vs brewey thread. I love Parish and have enjoyed all of their big bottle beers. I wish I could buy Envie here to stick my fridge. And I don't care what anyone says I love Abita too.

14 pages in...has anyone said whether or not this beer was inspired by The Police's Ghost in the Machine album?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Not at all. Sure they don't have a IIPA that appears to be the measuring stick for a brewery but I like many of their offerings. Jackamo did almost ruin IPAs for me though

The 750s look a lot better than the bomber labels.

Think it is inspired by the same inspiration that The Police's Album was inspired by.

Anyways, back on track.

For New Orleans people, I was just in Elio's and they had two cases. $11.99

Elio's also seems to have the best Bruery selection in town.

Per Parish's Facebook comments 2 hours ago they know Marcello's and E's Kitchen in Lafayette have it stocked.

Actually, it seems smart to me. Focus on shipping to New Orleans and Baton Rouge distributors first, since they were selling bottles straight from the taproom. Now that they sold their taproom allotment, send it out to the Lafayette distributor. People in Lafayette who wanted it had to go buy it from the taproom.

I picked up two. They only had 7 out on the rack, but they're racks aren't deep and they keep a lot in the back.

Haven't been following, is that a fair price for a bottle?

I know Ave Pub is charging $8.50 a pour.
