I wish parish would do this, it would make visiting the taproom worth it.

My only complaint about Parish. However, they do casks on Thursday nights for Trivia. But I'd rather a small kegged version that will last the week or something.

If anyone is looking for this overpriced over hyped swill they have some at Alexander's now.

Think the only person to get their bottles before me was the Mockler rep.

Flawed logic. So any beer on a shelf that is readily available is there because its not that good?

Yeah, probably so. But Tin Roof and Parish are operating at roughly the same production capacity right now (or at least as of a couple months ago). Parish can't expand their market reach for the flagship bottles beyond Lafayette, BR and Northshore because people are buying so much of it. Tin Roof is all over the state and now in Mississippi. It's all about demand. Canebrake is in demand, and is the reason Parish can't expand markets. They have no plans to distribute to other states anytime soon.

Outside of ICS, there really isn't a NOLA beer that I consistently buy. But I usually have Envie in my fridge, and I buy a good bit of Parish's special releases. I just wish other breweries in the state would brew AND bottle some special release beers. At lease Tin Roof did Rougarou. Bayou Teche does regular bomber releases of one off stuff. NOLA needs to do something similar.

Agreed. I'm a big NOLA supporter and enjoy most of their regular lineup, but they need to produce a bomber of something special. I know they have the manpower, and it's not like there is a shortage of their regular lineup anywhere in the state.

We usually have either Envie or South Coast for myself and TR PGP for mrs tetu. Its great having a decent selection of locals finally.

NOLAs canned offerings have been disappointing. I enjoy hopitoulas and ics on tap but they are different beers in the can.

I agree, at the same time, nola has more beers in their regular line up than any of the others. I wish they would start canning flambeau red and the saison.

Me too. I've learned to appreciate parish more for this. They can put out a quality product with little to no variation.

On the flip side, thats why visiting their taproom is awesome. They always have a bunch of beers on tap you cant get anywhere else. I wish parish would do this, it would make visiting the taproom worth it.

I agree with this. Parish needs to do a better job with one offs in the taproom.

I'm sure the downside of canning your beer is the inability to do special releases, unless you do the can wrap label.

Not being sarcastic but it just seems like a different time back then.

Once you get big enough, i guess you can do both.

Lindsey told me great raft will bottle their special releases starting this summer. They are waiting for their bottling machine.
