Morning everyone. We are going to the beautiful North Dallas suburb and needing recs on food. The last time we were there was 2008 and it appears that a lot has changed. Any local joints that we need to go to?

Cheers and GEAUX Tigers

Go to the star.......eat at any of the restaurants and see the Cowboys practice facility.

You’re welcome

I’d recommend Tupelo honey, common table or cane rosso

I second Tupelo Honey and La Hacienda (one of the first restaurants in Frisco) and I’ll add:

Jenevins – Sloppy roast beef poboy, gumbo & red beans and rice
Babes Chicken Dinner House
Hutchins BBQ

Mash’D on Preston is a nice casual spot with a good drink selection as well.

As a Frisco resident, all of these recommendations so far are great. The easiest thing to do is just hit The Star and pick a spot.

I would add Pizzeria Testa, my favorite pizza place around here. Also Heritage Table in old downtown is pretty good.

Tenders opened a spot on Preston behind hooters. Have not been there but have been to the one in Celina. Very good BBQ

It's not bad at all! Be sure to go early on weekends because they will run out.

There is one down here on Lower Greenville and its solid. Much better than Cane Rosso which is the most over rated pizza in Dallas.

Yeah I've been a couple times, and I don't know why people act like it's the best thing ever.

I agree. Cane Rosso isn’t bad, but I much prefer Testa and a few other places as well.
