Please enjoy your prices in BR. I had a small pizza and 2 beers at the Orange Beach Rotolos a couple weeks ago and it was 24 bucks before tip so enjoy the college prices.

Shitty service is one thing. Making someone wait an hour and not even getting their order into the system in the first place is on a whole nother level

I understand your frustration but you calling in 2 cheap calzones Togo on a busy "cheap calzone" night is not that much importance to them. I say this with experience because I dealt with this 5 years ago and see it hasn't changed.

My bet is that they forgot the order, burned the next, then finally got it right. A good manager would have owned up, comped, and given you the gift cards. You still would have been pissed but free food, extra gift cards, the food being good, and owning up to their mistake would at least earned them another shot.

I'll end up going back. Since this happened to me, and none of the people I go with, they'll still want to go and I will since this is the first time I've had any trouble there. I was just angry in the heat of the moment

We just got a Rotolo's here in Lake Charles.
The workers are nice but I haven't been blown away by their pizza.
It's just "ok." Second time I went, I got a meatball sub and the meatballs were all cut up.
The sauce was good but why cut up the meatballs into little tiny pieces?
The pizza from Sam's here is still better. The atmosphere is very nice in Rotolo's, I will say.

Rotolos has always been shotty when I've gone.
If you do go on a Wednesday, don't stay past 10 unless you want to feel like a macadamia nut on a double chocolate chip cookie.

When the old Rotolo's was in Tigerland, their calzones were 3.99.
I lived in Tiger Plaza, and we'd always call and order the 'zones to go. Five or six of us would chip in 5 bucks apiece, and we'd elect the most sober one to stumble downstairs to meander their way to the counter and get the order.
Out of the two dozen times we ordered, maybe three times the complete order was right.
We chalked it up to life, laughed it off, and moved on.

I've never had a single problem at rotolos. I usually go on Wednesday for a calzone..........they don't even charge me for a drink anymore.
