I call them and order 2 calzones. "That'll be 30 minutes."
OK. I show up at 7:15.
"Pick-up for Carson."
"One moment..."
He goes in the back and checks, then comes out and asks what I had. I told him and he went back to check. He comes out and then puts it into the computer. Tells me it's 13.06, so I pay, expecting it to be out shortly. He then says "It'll be about....25 minutes"
I give him a
look and was about to say what the frick but he's already back in the kitchen. I go and sit in my truck and wait for 30 mins. Come back in and try again. My order is still not ready. I end up waiting another 25 minutes before I get my box. I was visibly frustrated and said "about frickin time. unbelievable" under my breath as I turned to leave, and the guy hands me two $5 gift cards and tells me he's sorry.
What the frick is this shite? My buddies and I go every single Wednesday and the people know us by our first names. I don't understand how you could frick that up so badly. I wanted to get a refund and just leave. That's unacceptable service.
Guess I'll go see how good Mellow Mushroom is on next wednesday since Rotolo's Calzones are now 5.99 on Wednesdays.
All that being said, the calzone I had was the best I'd ever received from Rotolo's

it was slammed packed for an hour where you couldnt go talk to the people you know that work there and see wtf is up?

like i said, the place was loaded and the servers were constantly running around. If I had stopped them to bitch, it would just inconvenience others. I figured that a call tomorrow would be sufficient

sucks but $5 calzones is a pretty awesome deal. Cars were parked on the street when I passed around 7.

We don't "know" them, there's just 2 waiters that we always have that know our names and what we order. I only saw one of them and he was never near me

to be honest, I put a hold on my building for now. Focusing on school and waiting for prices to drop. Haven't been looking, really.

It was weird they sent an email out the other day saying special on wednesday's 5.99. The special was 5.00. We used to get them all the time, I think the total was 10.44.

It's cheap calzone night and your gonna get shitty service so deal with it. Not to be an arse but accept your gift cards and go back on any other night but cheap calzone/LSU baseball game night.
