Same.

And the SO always wants to tag along because she gets her workout clothes there. I'm not opposed to this. She always asks my approval when buying new running tights or yoga pants.

Yeah. Do that. Nothing can go wrong.

The spotlight isn't THAT bright. Just don't stare into it for too long.
Speaking of bears, this popped up on my facebook.

Photographed north of Destin today.

Well shite. Looks like they whacked mine and kept yours.

Oh well.

Her mom asked the last doctor that saw her what broken bones she had. The doctor said collarbone, arm, ribs, ankle, femur, pelvis, and too many more to list. She has been awake and talking though.

Prayers sent. All of them.

That shite hurts.
Responsible boating needs to be brought up to the boater.

Regardless of the situation, the owner/operator of the vessel should remain coherent and sober to avoid situations like this.

I can only imagine the pain she went through coupled with fear during and after the incident.

I've never had a negative encounter at Precision.

Nor has my SO or any of her girl friends when they go shooting.
This was posted her as information in case anyone was interested in purchasing a Kimber on sale.

It was not posted for individuals to be bashing the establishment and the owners and staff of the property.

All I have to say is that rules are set for personal safety.
Per Facebook:
quote:

KIMBER SALE & TAX FREE WEEKEND - This Friday and Saturday state sales taxes are suspended AND Saturday thru Sunday we are running a sale on our remaining Kimbers in stock. I'll get specific prices posted here later this evening. It's not going to get any cheaper than this. Please note this is a correction from an earlier post as the state sales tax holiday only runs Friday and Saturday but our Kimber sale will be as originally stated so the smart move is to buy on Saturday to take advantage of both savings.

Not keeping a round in the chamber is dangerous.

ETA: It's a personal preference thing. Some of my pistols have safeties, others don't.
I've misplaced one.

Found it a few months later and it felt like Christmas.

Doesn't it taste better to you?

We have this one now (it's in the actual jar).

Veganaise.

Call me crazy, SO changed them out without my knowledge.

Actually tastes better IMO.

This plus:

Lighting storm in an aluminum boat (since switched to fiberglass)

Walking up on a trapped and injured rabid yote.

Had a run in with a bear once. As well as a bull elk defending his herd.

ETA: I've had one or two stray bullets zing past me. It's always been the same damn troubled kid from down the road too.

+1

Fishing is the same for me. Sometimes I just need to get out on the water and burn through some fuel. I love the solidarity.

Yes. It's the only place my wife and I watch movies. Screw the riff raff at the Palaces. And I never even notice the servers.

The SO and I always make a point to catch a movie there when we're in town for this reason.

I won't go to the movies in Baton Rouge anymore for this very reason.

I wish they'd open a nicer theatre up here.
Friday - gym, working, knocking off some hogs on the property

Saturday - sleep in, clean guns, grill some venison, working with the dogs, OT

Sunday - sleep in, knocking off more hogs, working with the dogs, dinner with the SO
