Italian sub, shrimp Poboy and fried pickles.

Sub was good but not anything special. the shrimp on the Poboy had a bad taste so we didn’t finish it. Fried pickles were Spears so the batter just slid down when you picked it up. $37 later, will probably not be back and we live down the street.

On a side note, the little lakeview seafood and burger place next to reginellis has been really good the last few visits.

The picture of their best seller on their website is a pepperoni and cheese pizza. Seems strange.

I have not gotten to Francesca's yet but so far the reviews here are not promising.

Based on the prices alone I will not try this place.

And I live 3 blocks away.

Like I said before. Fried pickles are a good litmus test. If its spears then proceed with caution.

Grouper Sandwich has me pretty excited. Nothing better on the coast.

I wonder about some of you on here about critiquing and criticizing about a restaurant that literally just opened. Bashing the place and saying you won’t go just because of some post on here. Got to give the place a chance to learn what it needs to do. Tough these days in the food business, support and if things don’t change then bash. Should not be the other way around.

I kind of see your point, but the people who say they aren't going generally are basing it on the price point.

You replied to my post, but I never said that I wouldn't go. In fact I will go to try it out at some point. However they advertised they were opening an Italian Deli. Look at the menu. Does it look like an "Italian Deli" menu? You're right the food bus. is tough, but this isn't their first foray into the business.

*I stand by my statement that fried pickle spears are shite. Pickle to coating ratio isn't right and there is too much moisture. If a restaurant can't figure this out they more than likely don't know what they are doing or are cutting corners.

People are complaining about the prices, which are borderline ludicrous for a "neighborhood deli".

I would think that the owners should hear this in person then bashing it on social media is my point. A new restaurnat needs to learn in the first month or so, not have it bashed so people won’t go. I don’t have a problem telling scott the prices are a little high. If everyone said this I am sure it would be considered.

Quality for the price.

This isn't "social media". He is more than capable of reading it on here.

If other people agree, it will make its way to Yelp and TripAdvisor etc. If they don't agree, the place will do good business.

He should lower almost every menu item by at least a dollar. Some of them 2-3 dollars.

Y’all act like restaurants get their food for feee and profit 100% of it

You want gulf seafood? Premium meats and cheeses? Meats smoked and cured in house? Making their own dough for sandwiches and pizza? Homemade sausages?

It’s not just “oh hey let’s jack our prices up”. frickin idiots thinking these people are getting rich off this. On top of paying for food they have numerous other expenses like rent labor insurance etc. Enjoy your dollar menu at Wendy’s

K

Same people are buying $15 4 packs of beer but the food is too expensive. The same concept applies to the pricing

This is mainly what I was responding to. Kind of childish in a debate like this.
