Higher than T&W I think.

The oyster bacon sandwich is 19 dollars. 19. Basically the same sandwich but with Gouda at Bevi is 13ish.

Everything was 2-4 dollars more than it should be. Not a single sandwich 10 dollars or less except the half moon or half muff. Its 6 bucks to add proscuitto to a ceaser salad.

To me it was dinner prices at a lunch place. I've paid less than that for lunch in NYC or London. I was just taken aback.

Edit:

Just checked T&W's prices. Way less expensive. The most expensive sandwich there is 12.50, almost all of the sandwiches at Francesca are more expensive or around that price.

I'm noticing this more and more. Either the land lords or the restaurants need to take a step back and think about what they are doing or some of these places are going to struggle to make it.

Yeah.

I did not have a sandwich but they looked really good, to be fair. Nice size and looked high quality.

The renovation is really pretty.

I just probably won't be back any time soon because of the prices.

Piece of Meat has some pretty damn amazing sandwiches for around the price point and less.

Ehhh I consider Ye Olde College to be a sit down restaurant type place so I expect it to be a bit higher.

I'm really talking about the overall prices. Just in general, everything to me was a bit overpriced.

6 of the 15 sandwiches are 12 dollars or less.

Anyway, not doing this. The price is way overpriced in my opinion. You have yours, I'll have mine.

I only count 5 and one of the poboys. If you want to count the halves then it would be 8 of 17 are 12 dollars (11.99) or less.

The other 9 are more than 12 dollars...

Katies is great food but overpriced. I am not surprised that Francesca is following the same price options. I like Katies, and Scott is a good guy, but I do disagree that neighborhood dining should cost what he charges. I agree with your previous post that this is becoming the trend, and I do think we are close to the breaking point in which people will start dining out less. I know we have, because the prices are getting unsustainable.

Prices are fine for me.

But, I will go grab one and see if it's worth maybe a few bucks more than a poy-boy shop.

I was hoping for more of an actual Deli. The menu is large but disappointing.

I dunno man. I've wanted to try an Italian Beef sandwich for a long time, but I usually steer clear of places that choose the spear as the preferred pickle to fry.

12.99 is more than 12 dollars. Hence why I didn’t include them.

Look at the overall menu prices, including daily specials and all. It was not what I was expecting. I was expecting a deli and sandwich place with pizzas.

To me the prices were all about 2 dollars to much. To each his own.

FYI I had a pizza. I thought it was ok. Wife hated it and said she will never be back.

It’s in the neighborhood so I guess I’ll try it again someday and get a sandwich.

I had the Italian sub which was pretty good but not great. I agree the prices are a little high and it will probably keep me from eating there regularly.
