I am probably headed back to store because I always use ricotta cheese in my lasagna. But does anybody have knowledge over cottage cheese on it? Cooking in a few hours.

Yeah, I don't use it in mine but lots of people do and I've yet to come across a lasagna I dislike.. cottage cheese or not.

Sure. Won’t be as rich, but in lasagna, will likely be unnoticed.

My Mom always used cottage cheese so that's what I use. I prefer it to ricotta for lasagna, though I like both.

Cottage cheese in Lasagna is all I ever knew growing up. I love it.

My wife refuses to use it and I complain every time she makes lasagna.

Same. Grew up eating lasagna with cottage cheese as a kid. I never even knew what ricotta cheese was or that it was supposed to into a lasagna instead of cottage cheese until I was much older.

Well I went to the store. The cottage cheese will have to wait.

My wife’s family is Italian and makes lasagna on Christmas every year. They use cottage. It’s one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had.

Same. Mom and grandma always used cottage cheese but ricotta and bechamel are delicious also.
