Those saying pho, did you guys doctor it up with the lime, herbs, sprouts, etc? Have gotten pho with people who weren't big on it but most of them wouldn't season it. And if you don't, it's really just a big bowl of broth with meat. Just curious.

For me: sriracha. It's really good and all but geez, we get it already. Also not King Cake itself of course but all the retarded "riffs" on it... Make it stahp.

We use this stuff...

It's the least amount of bread to make a sandwich.

Fries. I find myself opting for other sides or no sides at all. I'll hit a fast food joint and get a sandwich and a dollar menu order of nuggets or something instead of the meal with fries. I also find myself ordering side salads at restaraunts instead of fries. They're just fillers to me now, unless they're covered with bacon, cheese, pork, or something else delicious.

Yes, fat post.

Fries unless done right.

Shrimp and grits. Good shrimp and grits is great but every restaurant has one now. Most of the time it is average at best.

I did. It was tasty. I'm not complaining. It's just not as good as I expect it to be when I'm reading about how much people love it. So I've stopped ordering it.

I dreamed about some hot French bread and I was stealing pieces of it. *sigh*

I love homemade guacamole.

After a little thought I don't eat one thing too much to be "over" it.

Bacon on everything. I love it for breakfast and on a BLT, but that's about it. I don't need it in everything.

I hate to say it, but fried catfish. Sometimes it's really good, but most times I wish I ate something else.

Pecan pie. I loved it when I was younger. I've always been on the search for one as good as my grandmother used to make. Now I just don't ever enjoy it when I try it. I don't know if hers was that great or if my taste buds have just changed over the years.

If you are trying store bought, that is the reason. Fresh baked is so much better, the ones in the stores are days old at best.

That's because AP jambalaya is dry. I grew up in St Landry and the jambalaya there is typically much more moist and I much prefer it. Much more flavorful imo.

While it's certainly overdone in many circles, it's hard to wrong with some kind of grilled meat filled with jalapeños and cream cheese and then wrapped in bacon.

This. It's ok for a dip but I prefer avocado in any taco, burrito, etc.

Well like the title says, I guess I'm just over it. Thanks for the downvote though.
