Now that I’m an adult and can make my own decisions, I will never eat green peas from a can or any variety of mushroom. And canned peaches, those are some slimy fricks

That was mostly for you

I respect what mayo brings to the table and have incorporated it more into my life. I still can't and probably never will just toss straight mayo on anything, though. I make my own now but still only to mix with other stuff.

I had liver once. That was enough. Peas suck. Fight me. Anything with artificial sweeteners.

I got your back on everything you described.

Went to a seafood restaurant in Sulphur called the boiling point probably 15 years ago. They had a small buffet and on it was something small and fried, looking an awful like oysters. I almost filled up my plate with this light and super crunchy things giddy with excitement. Bit into one to learn it was chicken livers. The waitress had looked at me like I had 6 eyes when I asked for cocktail sauce and I wondered why. I knew in an instant.

Also, I’m the only one in my family that doesn’t like green peas. My kids, parents, wife, in-laws…. All give me grief over it.

Never tried a raw oyster and never will. I can’t stand anything that “tastes like the ocean” because anytime I get sea water in my mouth at the beach I immediately vomit. Then throw in the fact that the texture makes me want to puke just looking at it. Nope! I’ve stomached them in gumbo, no issue with flavor there but the texture was still an issue and I tried a chargrilled one once and it was no bueno.

Baw? Some XL escargots from Burgandy baked in garlic butter with a splash of white wine and a tiny bit of nutmeg is one of the world's greatest delicacies.

Mine is tripe. I was told if you don't like Thomas Keller's tripe you don't like tripe. I don't like TK's tripe.
