Picky eaters.

I understand taking issue with people who won't try different things, but people like what they like. Why should they eat any differently to appease someone else?

Dunno if he means that. When I think of picky, I am thinking of the people that are like I dont like veggies or have to deconstruct every meal at a restaurant when ordering to the point its not even remotely the same dish.

'I dont eat veggies.' Really, you dont eat any veggies?

Because in my experience most picky eaters will not try different things. They will say things like “I don’t eat that” and when pressed admit they have never tried it. I’m not referring to exotic food items either. Or they tried something as a child and refuse to try it again. There are lots off foods I didn’t like as a child and even as an adult that I periodically tried to see I’m my tastes have changed and now love.

Not food per se but restaurant practice

4 person party. 4 menus. One drink menu.
Not a big deal except the drink order is the first thing they do and most often right away.

Most drink menus are online, a QR code I get but Chimes uses TapHunter, some places use Untappd and these menus are never accurate

My personal pet peeve is pickles. I hate them, please do not put them on the plate with my burger or sandwich. The pickle juice gets all soaked up in my food and ruins the entire meal.

Absolutely. frick pickles.

And the obvious pet peeve... when the entree comes out and the table is only halfway done with appetizers and/or salads.

This is small and can't even really be considered a pet peeve because it doesn't really upset me, but most non-booth restaurant tables are too small.

Four people at a 4-top have to play Tetris to try to get appetizers, cocktails/wine, bread, and water to fit on the table. Even just two people, I always hope they seat us at a 4-top because the little 2-toppers are so tiny.

Just wait until all 4 entrees arrive before you are ready.
