Curious question - to all the folks who find cilantro disgusting, do you eat the chips and salsa at every Tex/mex restaurant?

Not usually. I pretty much order queso and leave the salsa for everybody else.

Raw onions
I personally can’t stand them.

This, with the addition of all associated flavors — anise, fennel, etc.
ETA: I personally love it, but have long since come to grips with the realization that I’m in the minority.

A good friend of mine had a Korean exchange student for about a year named Eddie. At least that's what they called him. Anyway, Stephen loves licorice. He was munching on some one day and Eddie asked what it was. Stephen said it's called licorice. You can have some if you want but you won't like it. But Eddie had to try it. He put a piece in his mouth and instantly made a face like he had eaten a dog turd. He ran over to the sink and started trying to get the vile taste out of his mouth. Then he looked over at Stephen like he had played a cruel trick on him and asked, "Is this FOOD?!"
Personally, I like licorice flavor in some things and not others. For example, black jelly beans are great but Ouzo is horrible.

Ouzo tastes like black licorice? Welp, definitely never opening the bottle I've had in my bar for 3 years.

Yes, and Pernod.

Gimme. I also didn’t have a traumatic Jager experience in college like most, so I have no issue with that either.
