How can you say that. We must all be the same.
P.S. I love the 5 guys fries and that style. The twice fried crispies or whatever they are are not to my liking.

Oh, well...I differ. I wouldn't eat the limp fries. They're gross to me. "Fries" are fried. Fried implies they would be crisp to me. Limp fries seem undercooked.
I guess you would pass on the souffle potatoes at Galatoire's that are so darn good.

I came to peace with the fact that 5 guys would do just fine without my business years ago.
By the way, Ore Ida crinkle cut fries are the best fry in the business - anywhere-anytime. They are crisp, clean and have those indentations that hold ketchup perfectly.

So many people on the FBD fail to grasp this simplicity

They are crispy airy puffed bites of delight served with a bearnaise sauce.

If you are going to eat limp fries, you may as well bake them and skip the calories.

If you are going to a sit down place for 5 people and getting out for $53, I don’t think I’d be wanting to join you at such a place. Haha!
As an aside, Curbside does mix and match day on Mondays for $30.
4 burgers or 4 fried chicken sandwiches (or mix of both), plus 4 orders of fries or tots to go with each sandwich for $30 total.
Merchant does $6 burger+fries plates on Tuesdays, so 5 meals would be $30.. an even better deal. They'll also let you do a double patty burger for the price of a normal single (since the deal is technically 2-for-1) if you're rolling solo. Otherwise, $6 for the normal size.
Both have some of the better burgers in BR.

Pass. Outside of steak fries, crinkle cut are the worst.

If the fries are cooked correctly, they don't need ketchup.
Unpopular opinion: Condiments are best used for hiding flaws.

Since this thread as turned into a circus a long time ago, I just want to say that I really dislike Five Guys fries. Even when they are fresh, I kind of hate them.
Burgers and shakes are good though.

Condiments are bad, mkay. A burger should bread and meat only. Don't want to hide the taste of the meat.

Is that the same as checkers? If so, I agree and popeyes should be higher as well.

In whose opinion?
I think a crispy french fry is a wonderful vehicle for well made tartar sauce which is one of my favorite condiments for fries.
