Culver's has solid diner style burgers with thin crispy patties. The burgers and cheese curds are great, don't know how anyone could feel differently. Also, they serve frozen custard which is great.
I do agree on the fries though.

Freddy's is definitely better than Wendy’s, Burger King

Five Guys is weird. You're eating this 3,000 calorie bomb and there is zero flavor. Just not worth it.
I like the Culver's burger, but I agree 100 on the tasteless fries. They have a bunch of other stuff which is decent.

Ward's is good. I've seen bad reviews. It's clean and nice people whenever I go.

not to mention if you add a soft drink and fries you're looking at $15 for lunch for shitty fries and tiny overcooked dry burger patties.
the mcdouble at mcdonalds has better tasting patties.

I have forgotten how many times I've eaten Culver's in the midwest, which is a lot. Maybe the AL locations just aren't good. I never get the fries, just burger and frozen custard. Culver's is way better than Freddy's, Freddy's burgers are too damn salty, custard is inferior, and those little shoe string fries are awful. I find Five Guys to be all over the place, some locations are really good, some very mediocre.
