I like those guys, so I hope they were able to produce a really good DIPA.

That would be great news.

If some of yall are able to try some over the next 3 weeks before I can get back to Lafayette, please give some reviews. One of the owners told me during Mardi Gras that they were coming out with this beer. He promised it would be "extremely hoppy".

As you know, that does not always = a great beer. Mecha for example. I hope this one is good.

I live in Atlanta. I really like Burnt Hickory Brewery for a local option. They are putting out some interesting bombers consistently. Also can get your hands on plenty of Ballast Point, Bell's, Founders and Lagunitas beers.

Haven't tried burnt hickory yet, but had some Orpheus the other day and enjoyed it. Also enjoyed creature comforts out of Athens.

Been drinking bells, founders, lagunitas, ect... Didn't know if I was missing out on something

Didn't have internet all day.

FBD started with a weekend warrior and lasted for a while .. A few of them.

4miles drove us to parade.

Then switched to high life..

Then switched to various good shite with 4miles.

Now miller lite and then high life at ivars and zee zees

The crawfish we had were so hot my fingers are burning off
But good. 4miles knows what's up.

First few were Ghosts and Jack and coke. Back from the parade. Been a long day so far. I'm taking a breather for a bit.

Would also add plenty of good shite from terrapin, boulevard and Monday night brewing.

ManyBD were consumed. Some of Calandro's finest selection supplemented out of the 4miles and Jones imports. As best I remember:

Weekend Warrior
Parade Ground Porter
Santa Fe Coffee stout
Founders Breakfast Stout
Founders Porter
Founders All Day IPA
Stone Delicious
Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro
ST Chokolat
NOLA ICS
Several GOATs
LA 31 Saison
Hop Stoopid

Took a lot of beer to go with the 200# of crawfish. Luckily the unwashed had their keg of Miller Lite and mostly left the good beer alone.
