Question for you guys, I've got a hook up for Heady through someone at work. The guy that he knows sent me an email saying $20 a 4 pack plus shipping I know they sell for $14 there and he's gotta go through the leg work and shipping so that's understandable. Do y'all think it's worth it to get some at that price? I haven't had it yet so looking for opinions.

Depends. Do you like IPAs? If so then absolutely I'd pull the trigger on that. At least for a one-off try.

Heady is definitely worth seeking out.

Heady is on my 'to try list' for 2014.

FBD is still like 3 hours away. Productivity on Friday afternoons is hard to come by.

Heady is definitely worth $20 a four pack plus shipping.

If he's going up next weekend you should see if he can grab you a can or two of the new beers they are releasing, Focal Banger & Petit Mutant.

Heady at $20 plus shipping would be great...once a year or so. There are a lot of really, really good IPAs available much cheaper

If you're able to get extra, I can probably make you happy with a little trade, even if it's just a couple cans. I have goodies. UrinetroubleTD at gmail.com

How is this? I almost bought some yesterday and went with a six of Bell's Special Double Cream Stout instead.

That will be my OBD tonight.

Anyone ever try the Firestone Walker Hoppy Pils? Thoughts?

Probably try that and an enjoy an endevour (one of my current favs so far here in TX) this afternoon.

You guys recommended Deep Ellum IPA as a good go to every day beer here in TX.. Looked at 2 specs, 2 HEBs, and a H&Hs and couldn't find it. Is that normally available here in Houston area?

Absolutely. I'm thinking that next time I come down for a game, I won't need to bring any beer with me.

FBD - FW XVI Anniversary Ale.
