I did a similar tasting a couple weeks ago. Chose Heady but it was real close. How fresh are the beers?

Hell I still have one Pliny and Heady left, might do another "test" soon

7venth Sun gets overshadowed by CCB here in Tampa but they make some great stuff. The Key Lime Sublime is a hit among Berliner Weiss guys and those who like sours. I really like the Graffiti Orange Creamsicle Wheat...

SBD for me is technically still from my FBD, but I had some leftover rose hips from my brew this afternoon and did a french press steep with the rest of my Tank 7.

Pliny was bottled 04/17... Heady was canned 03/03. Not enough to matter, I wouldn't think. Both fresh. I'm talking the slightest of decisions ever on this for me. But neither have the nose of Abrasive IMO.

No beer yet for me, margaritas earlier and wine now.

But it's ACBW so American Craft Beer is on mother fricking deck.

I love Abrasive too, I just haven't had it in awhile. If I were to rank the 3 based on pour, nose, and taste I'm going Heady, Pliny, Abrasive. All 3 are world class brews and that list would probably change given how recently I've had the beers.

Wish I could have saved you that agony. Hoplanta just isn't good at all. Especially when you've been drinking great beers like you have lately.

Yeah, different levels of greatness. Abrasive was the first beer I ever had that reminded me of buying a Q for $125.

2BD- FW Double Jack

A little old, this one got pushed to the back of the pantry by accident. Still really good though.

Pretty good. Nice hint of rose in the flavor. No significant aroma additions.

3BD is a Jester King Mad Meg Farmhouse Provision Ale. Not bad, but the adiculated malt either needs to go or this thing needs to be full on sour. Too much of a tease. ABV ain't a tease, however. She a bad bitch.

We'd have two more pages of Stella had Ham's phone note died.
