Went across the street. Barley Brown's Don Vanuchi BBL stout. This is fantastic stuff. I've never had a stout from Barley Brown's. Must seek out more. Bypassed a bunch of name stouts for this one. Good choice.

I came into the bar and said, "It's International Stout Day. Do you have any good ones?". The owner looked at me and said, " Really? It's International Stout Day? I didn't know."

Just by coincidence, they are busting out there stouts this week for the start of stout season...

Here is the lineup. It's pretty good.

No beer today yet. I have a work call from 5-7 then going meet up with friends at Magnolia and I'm sure I'll have a few stouts. Looking at the menu, they have their regular stout (Stout of Circumstance) as well as their BRU-SFO* stout (Chocolate George – Belgian Stout w/cocoa nibs).

I have some left hand nitro stout, but I may wait to drink that as my FBD Saturday morning. I might go with a classic and drink a Guinness.

I'll be out in the burbs, Brentwood maybe ?. I won't have the car but will be staying with a non maven friend with one. Looking for some whales to bring back
