It's probably all mental, but for me IPA's and DIPA's always seem to taste better on draft.

The Crescent City brah. Coming back from 2 years in Houston. Been :bartscott:'ing this moment for a long time, been so close to have it fall apart at the last second several times. TBD is Sweetwater Happy Ending Imperial Stout. Ridiculously dark, nice roasty flavor, pretty mild, but given that its 9% that's worth noting I think. Kind of acidic but could sneak up on you, it would be tough to take down 2 back to back though.

LowRyeDer is good. Never had the other 2. Report back please.

I'll be going through all 3.

Full disclosure the brews at the alchemist and Hill Farmstead were 4-6oz pours.

FBD - Maui Brewing Co. Aloha B'ak'tun.

It's a Belgian stout brewed with chocolate, cinnamon and chipotle. Once this warms up it really opens up all the flavors and it's really tasty.

That setting reminds me of the Jester King brewery setting.

Sorry I'm late to this party but here's my list.

FBD was the Thin mint Irish Channel stout from Nola (Great!)
SBD was a Double Dry hopped Voodoo Bengal? from Tin Roof. It was really a decent arse beer besides the yeast trub off flavor.

TBD was a Scrimshaw Pilsner Very Nice.

4BD was some Surley Coffee Bender..... it was basically a brown ale to me. Didn't get too much coffee stuff going on in it.
not bad though just a little underwhelming.

I sent Rouge an email about grabbing a beer next week. If you want in, you two can meet up and relive your beer-a-palooza from a few weeks ago.

ETA: At least I think I sent him an email...his email addy was confusing
