I've been slacking in my beer consumption this week.... Hopefully I'll make up for it with a solid weekend

Good to hear. Like I said, I used to load trucks at UPS. I know what some of those boxes can go through. Not everything, but a few boxes a night get abused. Just want to make sure if my box is on the list for abuse that it can handle it.

Why is Abrasive so good but only available available part of the year?
I'm supposed to go meet the gf and cousin at jazz fest tomorrow...but don't think I'll be getting there until later. So maybe I can talk them into just meeting me at avenue pub after??

I'm no baseball expert, but I'm pretty sure one play out of a 162 game season doesn't mean much. Houston has been pretty bad for 6-7 years now. For the record, I'm not a Rangers fan. I'm a Dodgers fan which is like being an Astros fan except we get to watch high priced talent bumble around.

i'm in the same boat as you. my brother is coming in tomorrow night and wants to drink, so i'll be hitting it hard. will probably hang up the beer hat early saturday night and won't be able to pick it back up until next thursday.

good thing is i have the entire lakehouse to myself next weekend. can. not. wait.

nah, not really my style. sounds like kind of a mix between Amos Lee and Sufjan Stevens. I like stuff that's a little more up tempo with a bluesy riff.

just had this jamming a few minutes ago

I dig Spoon. First found them when I used to peruse this record store in Dallas that was next to the Pluckers back when I lived there in 2007. Not a big fan of that particular song though.

I would have liked that back then too.

I like Spoon's Gimme Fiction album pretty good along with Ga Ga Ga Ga... Guster is now a suggested video on youtube.. I Like them a lot too.
