Not my type of music. Its solid music, but I am more of a funk, soul, hip hop, jazz, quasi-jam type of guy.

Some of my favorite groups are:

Lyrics Born/Latyrx/Lateef the Truthspeaker
Blackalicious
DJ Shadow
Soulive
Jurassic 5
De la Soul
Tribe Called Quest
The Duo
Greyboy Allstars
The Coup
Lifesavas
George Clinton
Ozomatli
Kid Koala
Cut Chemist

That's a nice beer. GL is a sentimental favorite of mine; they really do make some good beer. I like their stuff too. I've had three: Alchemy Hour, Rye of the Tiger, and Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. All three solid, but the porter may be my favorite.

Don't forget GL Lake Erie monster

Cut Chemist did a late night show at Tipitina's with Chali 2na last night. Wanted to go bad but those 2 am shows are too hard to make during the week.

2AM shows are brutal. I still remember this epic night at TwiRopa where George Clinton played the early show and blackalicious the 2AM show. Great night.

lol, I was thoroughly drunk at this point last night.

Apparently I was coming down with the virus I now have and my SO and I agree that it makes you get drunk very easily the night before you really come down with it.

Was downing Black IPA from the keg trying to make room in the kegerator.

You are correct Coater! I've had 4 GL brews. I'd love to try the LE Monster fresh.

Why is Abrasive so good but only available available part of the year?

It is only brewed seasonally. Maybe Surly will move it into the year round rotation soon.
