there is a fine line. its natural for relationships to form over time as posters interact for several years on a daily basis...especially when many of them are in very close physical proximity and hang out and do beer exchanges all the time.
However, it may turn off the outsider who is here to maybe learn about some new beers and hear some good discussion.
Personally I wish the homebrewers and really knowledgable guys like LST, BMoney, zappas, etc... would post more educational content because I learn a lot about styles, ingredients, etc... from those guys.

Its not about WHO posts, just post about beer not about where you're going and what you are doing that has NOTHING to do about beer.
