I never stop long enough to eat. Only long enough to swing by Hop City and continue on to Nashville.

The race is in Atlanta where the heat is oppressive and I'll be running hills which I don't see a lot of in FL. Last year I dealt with a lot of soreness and cramps in my calves. Hope to avoid that this year.

Think they said it was gonna be ~68 at the time of the race... I am running it btw, it is a piece of cake.

Any recommendations on lunch and dinner? Casual.

Post Office Pies and Saws are right next to Avondale Brewery. Both are great. Highly recommend the smoked wings at Saws.

Little Donkey in Homewood and el barrio have great Mexican.

Ive never had the food at J Clyde but it looks really good. Plus they have a great beer selection.

Definitely hit up Hop City. We are heading that way tonight as well.

Good riddance. That was by far my least favorite beer from their vintage series.

Once my current production meeting is over, probably around 11am, I'll be making a bee line for the door.

FBD will be after some final honey-dos before our weekend company arrives this evening.

I respect others taste. I prefer the Abita, it takes me back to my childhood.

If you live in NOLA, or even visit there regularly, you better recognize that bar. It's too distinctive not to recognize it. No Stalk, IMO.

Whatever, you could take a picture of a fire hydrant and TMan would tell you what corner of the city you're in.

Nola currently has these two on tap:

quote:

-Tart Cherry Brown: NOLA Brown aged in a pinot noir barrel with Brettanomyces and cherries, ABV: 4.2%

-Rumplestoutskin: Irish Channel Stout aged in an Old New Orleans Rum barrel, ABV: 9.0%

I might have to head over there this afternoon.

Preciate you respecting others taste. I like to do the same. Some people prefer shite on others taste and tell em they're just wrong wrong.

I'm glad you prefer abita amber. More south coast for me.
