That white IPA is pretty tasty, love the nose on it.

The girl at the tap room told me Nola is moving and expanding their tap room to a building they bought next door to their place. She said it will be a bigger bar and will have music on certain days.

She also told me they are working on some sour beers.

FBD is an Otter Creek Citra Mantra. Quick pregame for the LSU bball game.

Really enjoying it. Lots of citra flavor with a clean, crisp finish. Washing down my Cubano from city pork nicely.

Wicked Weed!

Enjoy my old stomping grounds. Jealous, balls. I'd give just about anything to be there right now.

FBD is a homebrewed grapefruit rye IPA based on s14's recipe. Kegged it last night and it's all carbed up today. Sitting on the back porch listening to some Railroad Earth and waiting for the LSU baseball game to start.

That was a delicious beer. Sure you did the recipe justice.

I hope so for your sake. It's a beautiful part of the country, and Asheville is the perfect speed. It has that same relaxed feeling that we're used to in LA while still being a decent sized metropolis. A shitload of hippies that need a shower, sure, but they are driving some really awesome things in the beer and food scene. Plus with all the outdoors things in the area (a bit cold for that right now), it's pretty great. I wouldn't be opposed to reestablishing residency there in a few years myself.
