Veron's or French Settlement (both green onion) are what I usually grab at the grocery store if I don't have something local or homemade on hand

Another vote for Double D. It's PERFECT for red beans IMO.

Costco keeps this is stock.
I’ll give that a try. Kroger Private selection andouille isn’t half bad either.

Alexanders makes a pretty good smoked sausage.

As others have pointed out, Rabideaux’s if your store carries it.
If not, Richard’s is a fairly wide distributed brand across Louisiana. You can find Savoie’s sausage in Texas some places. Also, in TX I’ve found in a pinch that the Eddy’s pecan smoked sausage isn’t bad.
But I’ve learned to just fill up the ice chest whenever back home in Acadiana.

Rod's in Church Point
When people ask for opinions on best smoked andouille sausage, Rod's is at the top of my list.
Haven't made my way there in a couple years, though. Might have to do it this go-round during Christmas.

Get some beef jerky while you are there, you won't be sorry.
