I'll second the butt rub. I use it for pork and chicken.

Bolner's Fiesta seasonings work well. Don't overthink it

For brisket and beef ribs, heck even searing steaks on the pit, I like the Salt Lick rub, as it has a good bit of black pepper for the cow meat.
Pig butts and pig ribs, I like Nunu's and/or Pass-A-Lick. That's because I like a heavy dose of paprika on my pig, sometimes adding even a bit more paprika than what is already mixed into those rubs.

Meat church rubs are very good. We like the holy gospel on pork butt with honey hog on top of that.
I recently discovered Heath Riles rubs and they are good as well. The apple rub is awesome.

I love the MC rubs. Holy voodoo is ridiculous on fried fish. Just made wild hog jambalaya with holy cow and voodoo. Fantastic.

It is pricey, but I like Jay D's Sweet and Spicy BBQ Rub.

Meat Church Holy Cow is solid on beef, it's heavy on black pepper and salt.
Holy Voodoo is pretty good on ribs.

I usually make my own but anything Meat Church or Killer Hogs is going to be pretty solid.

i nearly bought a bottle of it. whats the flavor profile?

It has a good flavor just a tad salty for my taste. I’d have to cut it with some brown sugar.

I use Bad Byronz for pork, but for chicken, Weber's Kick'n Chicken is awfully good. I find myself using it a lot. It's got a nice kick to it and I like the flavor.
