Growing up Texas Pete was always a staple, and I still use it today. Frank's is pretty good too. You all?

I have some Thai Chili Garlic Hot sauce that I put in damn near everything.

I'm not picky in general though. Tabasco in sauces, red beans, or soups. The potent vinegar of tabasco goes well with those types of food in my opinion.

On solid foods like chicken I tend to use Louisiana hot sauce.

I guess it really depends on what you want.

I think Tabasco mostly tastes like vinegar. Crystal has a much better flavor, but it isn't very "hot".

Texas Pete and Frank’s are for Bama fans that are afraid of hummus.

Oh no it's time traveling hummus baw once again!

I'll be a sport though and participate. I'm with the majority and I like Crystal. Buffalo Wild Wings has WILD which is pretty damn good, so I rock with that when I get my wings. Top it off with a few beers.

I grow my own hot peppers and make my own hot sauces, sometimes out of habaneros, ghost or Trinidad Scorpion Butch T's. It is not for the squeamish.

If out at a po-boy shop, then it's Crystal or Tabasco, but I prefer the taste of Crystal as far as commercial brands.

damn, I never knew we had people who suffered this bad.

basic stuff:
I use crystal for everyday plus simple wing sauce.
el yucateco for heat in a variety of dishes.
tabasco basically just for greens because of the vinegar, although chipotle tabasco gets more use.
cholula for eggs mostly.
sriracha/chili garlic sauce for asian stuff.

for specialty sauces for braising or for wings and the like, I have some good, spicy ones from the farmers market and local hot sauce shop.

I'm currently growing habaneros and ghost peppers to start making my own.

gun to my head, I would pick crystal if I only got one. It goes well on anything.

Tobasco Chipotle
Tobasco Garlic

When I eat at Katie’s they have all the Tobasco HS on each table. Interesting to taste each one.
