A fastfood burger patty? Yeah...

I simply said that baconators and fried chicken aren't a healthy source of fat because of everything else they contain.
Go ahead and tell me what is "bad" in a Wendy's patty

Well trans fat is okay I guess

Naturally occurring fat in red meat isn't bad for you. Try again.

We've reached the point where y'all are just arguing for the sake of arguing and doing so in absolutes. For someone at high risk for heart disease, a Wendy's beef patty is absolutely less healthy than a grilled chicken breast. In moderation for most people, the negative health effects would be minimal.

Pretty crazy that LL and Zombie like to watch kids on playgrounds.
I have no idea what this lingo means? But I also don't know why I'm lumped in with your remarks (is this an insult?! I'm so confused.. what do playgrounds mean) when I've been fairly careful to not have a stance on either ~side~.
You really can't have a normal conversation with you two ever. Even when you're not necessarily arguing against anything you've said.

You came in here and misquoted me and then straight up fabricated other things no one has said in this thread and you act like I'm the problem

Many other folks interpreted what you said the way you said it. I knew what you meant, though it is not how you worded it, which is why I did not initially reply. Third time's a charm?
HOW DOES YOUR WIFE DEAL WITH THIS COMBATIVENESS, I WOULD LAUNCH MYSELF OFF THE ROOF ONTO THE CEMENT

How exactly do you know this? You've made several claims in this thread about what others think without an ounce of evidence to back it up

Considering you didn't get my quote right, I'm not really all that concerned with how you interpreted it.

My wife doesn't misquote me or make things up

I'm not going in circles with you. You know what you're doing and its is exhausting. Have fun with Mingo and Zombie doing whatever the hell playground is code for.
(Go ahead and reply and get your last word in. Well all know what's what you're waiting on)

False
My belief is that is exactly what the AMA says:

Choose nonfried fish, shellfish, poultry without the skin, and trimmed lean meats, no more than 5.5 ounces, cooked, per day.
Enjoy up to 8 ounces of nonfried fish (especially oily fish) each week, which may be divided over two 3.5- to 4-ounce servings
No thanks

Whether you like it or not has no bearing here. It doesn't matter whether you like it or not. I was only responding to your comment that the statement that a chicken portion isn't more healthy than a Wendy's beef patty

I don't know what the playground thing means either. Think he was calling us pedos in his meltdown state?

Find a controlled study that proves that it is.
8 oz of chicken breast is like 360 calories. Salmon is like 400. Where are the rest of your calories coming from if you only eat 400 calories from lean animal protein coming from?
The chicken breast is 60g of protein, a healthy adult male should be eating at least 1g of protein per lean lb of body mass MINIMUM so where are we making up that protein, unless you are built like a bird?

What he was doing is pretty simple to understand, which is why I guess you don't understand it

AMA is the authority I quote. I don't need to waste my time looking for something else for you to dismiss.
The simple fact is - You are wrong.

Lol
quote:
The AMA made the recommendation in “Culturally Responsive Dietary and Nutritional Guidelines D-440.978,” a resolution the organization passed in 2018: “Our AMA will: … recommend that the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services clearly indicate in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and other federal nutrition guidelines that meat and dairy products are optional, based on an individual’s dietary needs.”

Among the recommendations the DGAC made were that the Dietary Guidelines should urge Americans to cut saturated fat and “eat as little dietary cholesterol as possible.” According to data from the federal government’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES)
The standard American diet is certainly the pinnacle of health and wellness. They're run by the fricking government that conducted a study paid for by the corn industry to produce specific results.

The simple fact is - You are wrong.
Nutrition is a subject with still a lot of unasnwred questions, but we know the answer isn't SAD, which you just advocated for, so, in fact, you couldn't be more wrong.
