not sure if you have had these fruits befor ebut they are very good

in the bottom left corner the spiky fruit is rambutan

directly northeast of it is the dark purplish fruit is mangosteen which is my favorite weird asian fruit.

How hard was it for you to get around and get things scheduled? did you hire someone local to help with that kind of stuff?

Looks like it would be a great time.

You guys know your tropical fruits. I’ll hit them all up on my fruit run one day.

Also try those huge acorn looking nuts that they roast on the street. They have a real meaty taste.

The first times that I went, it took me a week to figure things out. Just use google translate, google map, and Grab(Vietnam’s Uber) to get around. If you want a tour, they’ll be plenty of businesses that will help you with that. If it’s your first time, I’d suggest visiting Da Nang first over Saigon. The latter is a bit crazy but I’ve seen western women in their 60s walking around Saigon District 1 so it must not be that bad.

Let's play a game...

How many can you name?

You've already identified the Rambutan & Mangosteen. I'll add mangos, longan, wax apples, satsumas, langsat, apples, dragon fruit, two varieties of rock melon/ cantaloupe, cherimoya, pomelo, banana, pears...

Only thing missing is guava, carambola, lychee, durian, breadfruit, and jackfruit.
