I like the idea of egg nog, but I don’t liked egg nog.

After a few bourbons yesterday I pulled out the last jar of eggnog I made Thanksgiving of 22' out of the back of the fridge. Me and my BIL chugged it gleefully.

In small amounts I enjoy it. Since marrying a Puerto Rican I've discovered coquito is the superior holiday drink.

Nay. I shun 2000 calories to catch a buzz.

I got to taste a two year old batch. It was incredibly smooth.

Hell no. Just a waste of good bourbon and a ton of excess sugar. Most importantly I’ve always thought it tasted awful.

Never been a huge fan, but a bourbon company marketing person recently gifted me a huge container of homemade nog, made with high-end booze, and it has been very good.

I used Alton’s recipe and bottled batches on 7/4 and 8/12. Used the results to win friends and influence people throughout the holidays.

That stuff is fantastic.

Yes for me. Wish Braums had eggnog shakes all year around instead of just during the holidays.

Did the same thing and gave a way a few bottles to friends. Looks like I will be making several batches next year from the feedback. They loved it. I used high-end bourbon, rum, and cognac.

Had this for the first time this year, like a liquid almond joy, fantastic.

Big fat yay for me, literally and figuratively. Boozy egg nog or not, I love the stuff. I could drink it by the gallon... but then I'd wind up on 600Lb Life, so I ration it.

I get one 20oz eggnog daiquiri every year, and my wife makes Alton Brown's recipe so I'll do one or two small glasses of that every year. This year we had some left from last year so had one extra glass of last year's.

I enjoy it in small doses. Like the taste but it’s so thick and rich.

I bought some and hit it with a little Woodford Reserve this year. Like others have said, tons of sugar and calories so it was just a half a small glass. I enjoy it though at Christmas.

This I prefer Coquito and Crema de Vie.
Both Latin egg nogs made with rum instead of whiskey.

I’d get sick of it quickly but always have a few glasses during the Christmas season. It looks like I need to try the Alton Brown recipe.
