The Alton Brown recipe is not thick like the store bought. Like I mentioned before I gave a few friends a bottle and they all sent text messages saying how good it was. Easy to make.

I do not like egg nog. But I don't like milk or "warm" spices. If I want bourbon, I just drink it on the rocks.

Yay. I make a big batch home made every Christmas. It’s much thinner than the store bought and tastes fantastic

ETA: I also started putting praline liqueur in it this year. It’s amazing.
