About once a month we have Carl fly us in the LearJet to Lisbon for Baba Ghanoush, Kibbeh and Kafta. I guess that's about 6, 650 miles.

There is an Italian Restaurant in Quitman we often drive to for dinner. Honestly there is nothing else in Quitman to go to and we know no one who lives there, so that must be why we drive there - maybe 45 miles
I guess we go to NO for eating. Maybe 3 hours.

As far driving somewhere for a certain food.
We drive to NOLA often just to eat. 70 miles round trip.
Worst I ever heard was my buddy who is in a MC club. They rode their bikes to Lamberts near Gulf Shores from Houma, ate and came back. That's 7 hours on a motorbike.

I ate there 3 years ago. First batch of crawfish were excellent. Second batch wasn't . Turtle soup was subpar...very thin. Been there, done that.

If I am anywhere near Eastern TN, then I am making the trek to Ridgwood BBQ in Bluff City. Very unique bbq sandwiches and the worlds best bbq baked beans.

Sportsman's is seriously legit. I used to take my boat there every weekend for a shrimp poboy when I was a kid.
