I mean she won't eat red beans
It's because I went to 3 years of public elementary school in NOLA during the early 70's. I'm still too burned out to eat them again from 4 days a week servings. Give me another 45 years and I might be ready for one tiny small serving.

I am not a big red beans fan either. Everyone has preferences, and that's fine. OP, if not a troll, listed the vast majority of meals Americans eat in their homes though. Seems difficult.

My list is accurate.

I used to work with a guy whose diet consisted of hamburgers, meat and bun only, and steak. I used to travel with him occasionally for work. Awesome guy, and someone that I consider a friend, but man it was hard to find places to eat.

Jambalaya for me
Once a year is more than enough
I’d eat dirty rice once a week tho
My Dad will not eat peaches
My Grandma would get bushels & can them & that’s what they had for dessert year round

Reminds me of my ex wife. Dump her. You’ll be much happier

so...what does she eat then?

Some palates become more sophisticated with age; however, this appears to have become a power struggle that may eventually erode into nastiness. Just remember, being a prick will never lead to common ground. Be kind, laugh, and encourage positivity. Either you meant the vows (for better or worse...) or you didn’t. If you were too drunk to notice before marriage, then this is your problem. I doubt she changed when you sobered up. When you really love someone, their idiosyncrasies become endearments. If your wife was diagnosed with stage four cancer, would this still be a major concern in life? Of course not. Reprioritize what is really important, and view your relationship for what it is, rather than what it is not.

This thread makes me sad. I’m probably the pickiest eater on the board. From the comments you all are making I now assume you all hate me. Jeez.

I think it’s illegal to marry a 4 year old.

Extremely picky eaters as adults are a little annoying but I don't hate anyone because of something so trivial. Everyone has their weird food hangups. OPs wife eats like a picky 3 yr old though

No, no hate. I just wouldn't necessarily invite you over for dinner, or go to a restaurant with you. Fortunately, there are endless ways to socialize that do NOT revolve around food. (Well, there would be, if we weren't all supposed to still be limiting social contacts.)

Here’s a test, would you eat this?

What are some major things you won't eat?

What DOES she eat?
Damn! I would hate to try and plan meals with her included.

I guess.
When my kids were still in the house, we had "experiment" night once a week. I'd make something that we'd never had before. Sometimes it was awesome and sometimes it was just OK. It was fun and got them exposed to a bunch of different foods. My kids are adventure eaters and eat and cook a bunch of different things and styles.
