Honestly, for the first few weeks you’ll just have to force yourself to eat when you wake up. After a while your body will become accustomed to it and you’ll wake up hungry.

Exercise will also help with that.

I agree, lots of people here eat reasonably good breakfasts, pretty surprising.

Like I said, eat breakfast if you want to, but it's not necessary and there's actually a lot of compelling evidence on the contrary. Be careful and remember you are adding calories to your morning, eat less at other meals and don't gain weight.

And I'd still find a new doctor. Guy probably thinks table salt causes high cholesterol too.

Week days with wife is 2 pieces of bacon each, with 2 eggs each, and an english muffin.

When I'm alone or low on time, 2 boiled eggs and a bowl of instant oatmeal.

Weekends we mix in pancakes, waffles, biscuits, or cinnamon rolls with much of the same.

We are big breakfast people.

no doubt it’s one of my concerns. I have done a good job watching my diet and keeping my weight where I want it (165-170). For a while I was 185 and it was not a good look (beer gut)

Thanks for your one correct assertion in this thread.

Eating more calories means you can gain weight

M-F I don’t eat breakfast. Just black coffee.

Saturday and Sunday I’ll eat eggs and bacon.

My wife every morning makes me: 2 fried eggs, a meat, a slice of toast (homemade bread), some preserves (homemade), and a little fruit mix

Then every once in awhile she’ll do some homemade biscuits or English muffins or a pancake

Blend together ice, milk and fruit. If that is too much, eat a granola bar.
