Dinner in BR Friday before Olemiss Game

Which do you think would be the better option to take a couple from out of town to dinner that Friday of the Ole Miss game: Mansur's or Galatoire's Bistro? I'm open to other nice dinner suggestions as well...Juban's doesn't have anything at a reasonable hour. I'm trying to think of Creole or Cajun restaurants.

I prefer Galatoires to Mansurs but that is just a personal preference. I'm a big Jubans fan but if it's out.
Louisiana Langniappe is a nice option as is Beausoleil.

I'm trying to talk my friends into going to the 13th gate escape room friday night before the USM game.
I think I looked at Ruffino's for friday before ole miss but the times were too early or late

I like French Market Bistro better than Mansur's (same owner). Louisiana Lagniappe is great seafood, but they don't take reservations. I 2nd the Beausoleil rec.

Had a great meal there a few months ago. We got the charbroiled oysters, cedar plank-roasted redfish, and sensation salad, and duck mansur. Everything was fantastic.

I prefer Galatoire's overall for a more Louisiana type restaurant. I love Mansur's chargrilled oysters and the visiting fish dishes are usually good, but those are about all I order there. Nothing else on the menu appeals to me as much as most things on Galatoire's menu. If the evening is nice, you could sit outside on the patio.

Thanks everybody! I decided on beausoleil and made a res today. They still had some normal res times available surprisingly.
