Legit, super mild sardines were one of my favorite bar snacks in Spain. Really a shame that the horribly fishy overly salty sardines are all we tend to get in the States. Solera used to have sardines on the menu in Baton Rouge, but after a quick check, it doesn't look like they are on there anymore.

From what I can tell most restaurants don't have them as a set menu item unfortunately. Seems to be one of those "if we can get them" things.

Have had Boquerones at Patois before. Not sure if it's a regular item

I am pretty sure I have seen them on special at Marjie's Grill, but you'd have to keep up with their social media.

Andrea’s has them as a special when they are in season and they are really good there. Usually Andrea’s is a pass for me but that dish is worth it

I think I read that they have them around St. Joseph's Day, which unfortunately was back in March.

I have also seen them at Andrea’s but I don’t remember ever having them there.

These are anchovies, not sardines. I think OP is looking for grilled sardines. These are usually 5-8" long, whole, head-on, and gutted. Typically frozen.
