Last few times did Eliza, Kahlura(?), Elsie’s, and Ruffino’s. Looking at pinetta, Gino’s or that place on Jefferson that was a gelato joint for Italian; Stab’s for steak; or perhaps go downtown and hit the Gregory or Cocha. Suggestions?

Aside from what you mentioned, Zorba's and Nino's.

Looks like Italian is an option. DiGiulios is the best date place in BR in my opinion

I'm all about DiGiulios. Great, consistent food with great atmosphere.

Like DiGulios as well but want something different. Haven’t been to Gino’s in 20 years so maybe that’s the choice.

Second, this place is pretty good.

There is also Stabs. It gets killed on here, but the food is pretty good.

I took 5 fellas in for a client dinner and it was a comedy of errors. Clearly the staff is either undertrained, or inexperienced.... from the hostess, to both of our waiters. We all agreed, if we go back - its gonna be a while. We spent $800 on dinner.... just saying if you are looking at a steakhouse in BR, I would recommend another establishment.

Didnt want to make a thread and hammer them as I know their group has alot of fans on here. Just a very poor experience that was picked-up-on by no one. Managers included.

May give them a try again in the future, but it wont be soon.

My vote for a romantic date night is always Maison Lacour. The three aforementioned Italian spots (Gino’s, Diguilio’s, Pinetta’s) are all solid picks, as well.
