What are crawfish prices right now? What should I expect in 2 weeks? Looking to have a boil for the super bowl.

Just call the week of and get prices. No matter what board you post on here you are going to get a bunch of stupid responses in general. Too cold, too hot, too much rain, gravity, global warming.

At the end of the day, it's still supply and demand.

Just paid $22 for 5 lbs of hot boiled crawfish in Gonzales.

Cajun Catch Seafood in Gonzales.

I think it was $3.95/lb ready to eat

The ones we got this weekend weren't small; it should be a really nice crawfish season.

We boiled some belle rivers from capt sids, honestly may have been the best crawfish I've ever had. Perfect size and the most fatty crawfish I've ever eaten

Just a cleaner taste

It's a noticeable difference imo considering a lot of places sell shitty pond crawfish in NOLA

Saw on their Facebook page that Michael's Seafood, in Hammond, has them at $2.19 per lb, this week.

B&J's Seafood has them on special, today, @ $1.99.

Swamp crawfish, not the ones grown in a controlled farm.

Picked up one crawling in my driveway. Been feeding him/her for 2 weeks. So they (it) are free here.

If the weather stays ok, same prices you think in 2 weekends? Roughly $2.50-3.00lb live to me the consumer?
