Right now I have a 60 qt pot and it doesnt quite fit an entire 45 lb sack of crawfish and all the veggies I do...is 100qt pot the standard? Anyone go 120?

An 80 will do it, but so will a larger pot if you need to do more than one sack. I've got a 120 for the larger boils. But, I have a 90, a 60, and a 22 qt. also...

I roll with a 100, but I never boil a whole sack at once. Too much beer to drink

I have a 100 qt, it fits a sack with corn, potatoes, and room for other stuff you might want to throw in.

Get a 160 qt and you can boil two sacks at once and be done with it. Oh, and it will boil less than two sacks in case any of you were wondering.

I cut the top off of a beer keg, welded the hole at the bottom shut, welded some handles on, and rolled with that. A sack is a tight fit but I look like a cool arse dude doing it

I've seen spillway crawfish sacks around 50lbs already and even some around 50-53#'s. I've tried taking them out and putting them back in and it didn't quite work as well as the fisherman got it. They have different size sacks from what I'm told also.

I'm sure you see this but a lot of the wild crawfish guys will stuff 40+ pounds in most of their sacks. Farm crawfish not so much.

To the original topic, I have a 100qt pot and can boil 1.5 sacks in it so around 50-60lbs in it. The crawfish don't have to have much water over the top of them to boil. If you are going to boil all the fixings with it, might want to go with one sack like the others have said. I also have a 120qt pot and can boil two sacks in that one. It just depends on what you want.

The sacks are so packed they almost are shaped like bowling balls when they are that heavy.
