Bump. Where are the reports from yesterday?
The Avenue Pub Facebook page made it sound like a shitload of beer was consumed in that little area of the city yesterday

Last thing I remember was a bunch of guys pushing a piano down the street. Made it to barrel proof and started singing.

I attempted to go. It was too crowded for my patience. Went to Avenue instead and met up with Matisyeezy.

I'll try again next week once the novelty has worn off.

You never bought me a beer, a-hole. I'm adding it to your tab.

As for Courtyard, I thought it was an extremely well run event while I was there (12-2ish). The nature of the beast is that their space is small and they have to work within their own restrictions, and for that I think it was great. Courtyard is a fantastic establishment and it makes me happy to see that the community supports it.

Plus I think Scott and Lindsay are all-around awesome people and I love catching the place on an off hour to drink and shoot the shite with them.

Stopped by there today, had a few non Courtyard beers, then they found an extra keg of their own Mosaic IPA. Very impressed with the brew, and l look forward to trying more of their beer.

They were out of most everything today, but should have a few more of their own stuff ready for next weekend.

I think it's a great thing that they are going to struggle for a while keeping their own stuff in stock.

Yesterday was a shite show, but once I was able to secure a table and started buying beers two at a time, it was an enjoyable experience. Their house beers are really good. That Big Baby is delicious. Wasn't as impressed by the Dirty Deed. All in all it was a great day. I'd love to know how much they made because the line was out the door all day and the 5 or so people behind the bar never stopped pouring.

This makes my heart so happy. Good for them! It is awesome that they get so much support.

They Instagrammed this photo showing how many kegs they went through Saturday.

I somehow doubt that standing on unsecured kegs in open toed shoes is OSHA compliant. They might want to be more aware of what they instagram.

But good for them for being so busy.

I'm pretty impressed with the support they have received from the community.

I thought the same thing, but they are empty so oh well.

When I was reading about them starting up, I had no idea they would receive this much support. Little secluded location, not much of a typical "bar" atmosphere, etc. But people love it! Very awesome.
