Costera was absolutely amazing!

Thanks for the suggestions. The food was phenomenal, the wine list was exceptional, and the cocktails were great too. We ended up doing the Family Tasting; which was three courses / think nine plates of food. These weren't some pansy arse portions either. I was totally surprised at the amount of food.
Course 1:
Shishito Pepper, Papas Bravas, and Marinated Olives
Course 2:
Seared Tuna, Blue Crab Tomato Salad, BBQ Shrimp but Mediterranean Style
Course 3:
Market Fish, La Plancha scallops, and Charred Broccoli & Cabbage

I am obsessed with Spain amd Spanish food/wine. I said it on my first visit and confirmed it on multiple visits since. Costera is a top 10 (maybe 5) restaurant in New Orleans.

No. You must be looking at a catering menu or something. You need an appetite for 12 people though! The portions deliver.
Just needed whole table participation. I told the server my wife was pescatarian and didn't really like mushrooms. They let it rip from there.

The tasting was only $45/person IIRC. But after two pre-dinner cocktails, a bottle of wine, an after-dinner drink, and a dessert the total was $210 plus tip.

Went for the first time due to the reviews on here. Did the tasting menu this weekend. Absolutely incredible meal. One of the best I’ve had in years I think, top to bottom

Mixed Mushrooms w/ croutons & egg yolk
Bbq shrimp

Scallops over fideo
Charred cabbage w/capers & fried garlic
Lamb sausage over a giardiniera (debuted Saturday)

Chocolate Terrine with Dulce de Leche and Vanilla Gelato

Its hands down one of my favorite spots in the city. Never disappoints and always delicious.
Definitely makes me wish I was back in Spain again.
