I would blame the Texas Package Store Association and their lobbyists. Every time a liquor law comes up for debate, you can hear the cash machines roaring. There are a few well healed families who will fight to the death to keep their strangle hold on liquor sales in Texas.

the French Vodka that much better than the Kirkland's Vodka. Because it's pretty good for $12.99 for 1.75 liters.

I drink the Kirklands brand vodka regularly mixed with a little water. I drank Tito's for a long time prior to switching and cannot tell the difference in the two.

I buy the Vodka and Canadian Whiskey often. The Vodka lends itself to Titos and I can't really tell the difference b/w Costco's Canadian whiskey and Crown Royal.

Anejo tequila is easily 90/100
Their gin is meh.
Their vodka and Irish whiskey are nice.
The bargain is the malbec. It is VERY good south American wine. I buy it by the case.

A while back they had a great high proof Kirkland small batch bourbon but at some point changed over to the current which I can take or leave.

I get the super tall Kirkland Vodka and Tequila (silver and anejo) all the time. Wish they had a rum too for my mojitos but I just buy bacardi

Wish they made a regular rum. Their spiced rum is aight.
