Don’t know if this post belongs on the F/D board or Home board. Looking to buy a large cutting board of a good hardwood. Looking to support a small business. Let me know if y’all have any recommendations.

Where you live will probably determine what stores are suggested.
For instance in New Orleans I'd recommend "NOLA Boards"

I’ve been in their place on Magazine. I like their stuff, but not love to spend the money they want.

While they may be expensive, it does take time and material to make things. If you want cheap, go to TJ Maxx and get a bamboo board for $29. Looks online for a "Boo's Block.
Or, look on your local FB marketplace for a garage shop guy selling cutting boards that may fit in your budget.

Understandable. Boutique cutting cutting boards are generally pretty pricey for the function they serve

Thanks. I’ve seen similar places priced $50 cheaper for a larger and better quality piece of wood.

ETSY has a shite ton of boards. It's not a small business but you can't go wrong with a Boos.

yeah this is a weird statement. If you've seen better quality for cheaper then why are you asking us anything? Also please let us know where you saw these, because I would like to go buy one for myself.

Nice boards. Too busy for my taste, but they look well done.

How big and how much are you willing to spend?

Here is an example
Most of those boards make me dizzy.
What exactly are you looking for and in what size and price range? Just a kitchen cutting board, meat board, charcuterie board, something decorative?

Here’s a picture of mine. It is 18 x 24 x 2. A guy who does woodwork in my subdivision (youngsville) made it for me out of mahogany but he can use any would you want. Let me know if you need his contact info. His price was almost half the price of an equivalent board on Etsy
