I love this stuff on just about any asian dish. I put it in my noodles, pho, ramen, rice, etc. Recently I got to putting it on my ham sandwiches, and my mind has been blown. Ham, mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles and chili crisp; flavor heaven! It's not just for Asian fare anymore. The game is now changed for me. Love this stuff!

The frozen soup dumplings at TJs and a bit of chili sauce is a great 2 minute meal. Very good.

Chili crisp and vanilla ice cream also very good.

Shines in sauteed green beans, sweet potatoes, etc.

I use about a jar every two weeks.

During the pandemic, a go to lunch was leftover rice, chili crisp, some form of pickled vegetable and a fried egg.

I'm a big fan. I've tried all kinds of different brands, from the $4 Laoganma to the expensive $30 boutique brands

Laoganma is the best and its not even close

Also try their "Fried Chili in Oil"

Never even heard of it until I did that dumpling recipe. It's great in that for sure.

It’s great for sure. Lot of brand and type options too but the one you posted is still my favorite.

Also fairly easy to make at home if you have access to a decent Asian market.

I've tried several. All are good in different ways.

One I'm liking now is Momofuku Chili Crunch (by David Chang).

Last two times I ordered from Amazon, the containers leaked. Lots of negative reviews with the same problem. I am done with that brand. I tried another and it was terrible.

I get mine from the Asian market in Metairie. Never any issues, and it’s a large jar

Both of my grandmothers used to make a chili sauce that was kinda pickled. It was great on peas like black eyed peas and new peas. Especially good on black eyed peas boiled with ham chunks.
