Have any of you sticks ever tried this ?

I received a $40.00 IHop gift card for Christmas and Jr said some pro athlete eats this so we are thinking about giving it a try tomorrow.

Chicken for breakfast sounds gross.

You’ve really never heard of chicken and waffles?

This sounds like an old man, not a millennial.

Millennials destroy brunch on the regular.

See if you can cash that in for $20 and head over to MoPho for their vindaloo chicken and waffles.

Lot going on here. Please report back if you decide to venture out. I’m also curious as to which athlete carries so much culinary influence.

I want to say one of the athletes on The Game Changer documentary was eating chicken and waffles before games.

I've never had chicken and waffles. The combination just sounds gross to me.

So...you're just generally unclear on the concept of chicken and waffles?

I’ll say it.
chicken & waffles sounds better than it actually is.

Chicken and Waffles is great, but too many places half arse it. They either throw some fried fingers on a plate with some waffles, or they will do chicken leg on the bone. Both of those are poor production.

A good C&W is a boneless chicken breast perfectly fried, laid on top of the waffles then covered with the syrup. The point is to cut into it as a stack and get all the flavors together. You can't do this when it is on the bone, and chicken fingers just aren't that good when compared to a freshly battered and fried breast.

This is what you want.

You don't have to eat it for breakfast. My wife and I fry some chicken every now and then and make some gravy and eat chicken and waffles for supper.

I like when places do them savory. Jalapeno cheddar waffles with a creamy mornay type of sauce on top of it all.

I'm not as interested in it with syrup.
