What kind of waffle would you recommend? I've always gone with the traditional American batter, but have considered using a Belgian dough instead. Worried it'd be too thick though.

I’m sure this entree various massively. I would try it at a breakfast restaurant not named ihop or any big chain. Brunch restaurants might have it or maybe an upscale hotel.

I prefer thick. I think the balance of it with the chicken is better. It's like eating your roastbeef on a good poboy french bread rather than two thin slices of bunny. Both are good, but one is superior
